PJ Madison's was founded in 2002 by Patrick and Jennifer Davidson. The couple named the product after then one year old daughter, Madison, and later incorporated newborn son, Patrick John "Jack" into the label. Originally founded as a retail ice cream outfit dedicated to making their unique blend ice cream, the company changed business models to focus on the research and development of organic ice cream after learning about the harmful effects of organophosphate pesticide levels in humans (OP'S) - particularly in children. The result is the high-quality gourmet organic product that the company proudly packages in the strong black and white graphic pint design.
